Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurants is seeking an Assistant Executive Kitchen Manager in Annapolis, MD. You will help lead a high-volume scratch kitchen, partnering with the Executive Kitchen Manager to ensure exceptional food quality, consistency, and safety while coaching and inspiring your team.

The role emphasizes leadership, training, and execution to deliver an outstanding guest experience and grow the culinary team.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of management experience in a full-service restaurant environment.
• Scratch kitchen experience preferred.
• Passion for culinary excellence.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work 50–60 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Direct kitchen operations across dish, prep, and line stations.
• Lead kitchen training, food execution, and new menu roll-outs.
• Participate in hourly kitchen Team Member hiring.
• Mentor and develop Kitchen Managers and Team Members through coaching and feedback.
• Communicate with clarity and build strong cross-team relationships.
• Drive operational excellence and ensure food safety standards.
