Job summary

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Bardstown is seeking an Assistant Executive Housekeeper who is honest, friendly, a team player, and driven to succeed. You will oversee room assignments for housekeepers, coordinate deep cleaning, work with Maintenance to stock supplies, ensure rooms are inspected and logged in the system, and respond promptly to guest inquiries.

Qualifications

• Excellent guest service including honesty, positive attitude, and guest focus.
• Ability to seek out work and take initiative without direct supervision.
• Knowledge of safety, security rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assign rooms for Housekeepers and schedule extra help for deep cleaning.
• Coordinate with Maintenance to ensure supplies are stocked.
• Ensure all cleaned rooms are logged in the computer system and meet standards.
• Manage lost and found items and secure storage areas.
• Oversee time clock punches and staffing levels for linens.
• Assist in training new Housekeepers and in terminations where needed.
• Respond to guest inquiries or escalate to the General Manager.
