Job summary

Staybridge Suites - Lexington, Kentucky is seeking an Assistant Executive Housekeeper to lead a housekeeping and laundry team, ensuring rooms and public areas meet brand standards and guest expectations.

You will coach and train staff, assign daily tasks, inspect rooms, and coordinate with Front Desk and Maintenance to keep operations running smoothly. Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Clean Dream Team by supporting the Executive Housekeeper and managing housekeeping and laundry operations when they’re away.
• Coach & Train: interview, train, and support Housekeepers and Laundry Team Members.
• Set the Standard: hold team members accountable to core values and performance expectations.
• Room Readiness Pro: assign daily room boards, halls, and extra tasks while tracking late checkouts and early departures.
• Quality Champion: inspect due-out, vacant, and inspected rooms to ensure they meet brand standards.
• Fix It Fast: guide team members to correct issues immediately.
• Jump In When Needed: assist with room cleaning, laundry, and public area upkeep during busy times.
• Behind-the-Scenes Organizer: ensure storage rooms are stocked and organized; return deliveries promptly.
• Communication Hub: work closely with Front Desk, Maintenance, and Management to keep operations running smoothly.
• Lost & Found Legend: collect, log, and store items properly in software programs.
• Schedule Support: help ensure all shifts are covered fairly, including weekends, holidays, and call-ins.
• Team Morale Booster: maintain a positive attitude and support a respectful, upbeat work environment.
