Job summary

Candlewood Suites Lebanon in Lebanon, TN seeks an Assistant Executive Housekeeper who will manage room assignments, coordinate staffing for deep cleaning, and ensure rooms are checked and logged in our system.

You will partner with Maintenance to stock supplies, oversee time punches, train new team members, and handle guest inquiries promptly while upholding all standards and safety rules in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Assigning rooms for Housekeepers, assigning extra help for deep cleaning.
• Partnering with Maintenance to ensure Housekeeping supplies are fully stocked.
• Ensuring all cleaned rooms are checked and updated in the computer system.
• Maintains and logs lost and found items.
• Makes sure all storage areas are locked.
• Oversees Housekeeping’s use of the time clock, ensuring that punches are accurate.
• Responsible for making sure there are enough linens stocked for the night Housekeepers.
• Assists in training for each new Housekeeper.
• Assists in terminations of Housekeepers that are not showing signs of progress.
• Ensures that cleaned rooms are up to standards, rules, and regulations.
• Responding promptly to any guests inquires or complaints, or escalating to the General Manager.

A general overview of the Assistant Executive Housekeeper position is as follows:

• Assigning rooms for Housekeepers, assigning extra help for deep cleaning
• Partnering with Maintenance to ensure Housekeeping supplies are fully stocked
• Ensuring all cleaned rooms are checked and updated in the computer system
