Job summary

Home2 Suites by Hilton Alcoa Knoxville Airport is seeking a dedicated Houseman to support our housekeeping team. You will stock carts, restock supplies, and assist with daily cleaning tasks to maintain a welcoming guest environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a strong work ethic. Weekend and holiday availability is welcomed as part of our flexible staffing model.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with strong customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
• Understanding of basic cleaning procedures.
• Prior housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred.
• Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and products.
• Good physical health and stamina.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining high performance standards.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to follow instructions.
• High school diploma a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stock carts with linens and supplies for housekeeping staff.
• Strip linens from checked-out rooms and restock housekeeping shelves.
• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas including patios, sidewalks, and parking lots.
• Clean and maintain common areas such as the lobby, restrooms, and pool area (where applicable).
• Assist with general cleanliness and upkeep throughout the property.
• Ensure all assigned areas meet hotel cleanliness and safety standards.
