Responsibilities

• Assign rooms for Housekeepers and allocate extra help for deep cleaning.
• Coordinate with Maintenance to keep housekeeping supplies stocked.
• Ensure all cleaned rooms are updated in the system and logged.
• Manage lost and found items and secure storage areas.
• Oversee time clock and attendance for housekeeping staff.
• Ensure adequate linens are stocked for night shift.
• Assist in training new Housekeepers.

Assistant Executive Housekeeper – Overview

Responsibilities

• Assigning rooms for Housekeepers, assigning extra help for deep cleaning
• Partnering with Maintenance to ensure Housekeeping supplies are fully stocked
• Ensuring all cleaned rooms are checked and updated in the computer system
• Maintains and logs lost and found items
• Makes sure all storage areas are locked
• Oversees Housekeeping’s use of the time clock, ensuring that punches are accurate
• Responsible for making sure there are enough linens stocked for the night Housekeepers
• Assists in training for each new Housekeeper
• Assists in terminations of Housekeepers that are not showing signs of progress
• Ensures that cleaned rooms are up to standards, rules, and regulations
• Responding promptly to any guests inquiries or complaints, or escalating to the General Manager
