Job summary

The Chateau of Long Beach is a large assisted living facility for the elderly (ages 59+) located in Long Beach, CA. TruCare Community seeks an Assistant Executive Director/Administrator to work with the Administrator, supervise department coordinators, and oversee facility operations and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include coordinating Healthcare, Food Service, Activities, Business Office, Marketing, and HR; ensuring life/safety and regulatory adherence; supporting admissions,

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RCFE certificate.
• Able to clear DOJ FBI live scan background check.
• Able to pass pre-employment physical and TB test clearance.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Schedule may include weekends and holidays.
• Experience in medication administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs and manages department supervisors, ensuring successful operations.
• Maintains relations with families to foster harmony and communication.
• Assists with programs for Healthcare, Food Service, Activities, Business Office, Marketing, Housekeeping, and more.
• Assists with HR matters including hiring, disciplining, and staff morale.
• Interprets RCFE/OSHA regulations and ensures compliance with life/safety laws.
• Supports marketing and census efforts; assists with admissions paperwork and intake.
• Handles business office tasks and weekly reporting as needed.
• Other projects as assigned.
