Job summary

The Chateau of Long Beach, operated by TruCare Community, seeks a compassionate PM Caregiver to join our team in Long Beach, CA. This full-time role runs 2pm-10:30pm, Tue–Sat, with a $500 sign-on bonus and on-the-job training.

No experience required; we will train the right candidate. Responsibilities include assisting residents, administering medications per Title 22, coordinating care with medical staff, documenting progress, and ensuring a safe, engaging, and respectful environment for

Qualifications

• Compassionate and dependable caregiver with strong patient focus.
• Willingness to learn and follow care protocols.
• Able to pass background clearance and health screenings.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the basic needs of a RCFE (Residential Care Facility for the Elderly).
• Provide ethical and respectful care to residents.
• Administer medication to residents in accordance to Title 22 regulations of the California Administrative Code.
• Order and reorder medication for residents, following explicit physician instructions.
• Monitor resident’s medication administration records and report any errors to the Lead Medication Technician and/or Administrator.
• Progressive documentation and communication with physician and /or medical professional.
• Scheduling of resident doctor’s appointments.
• Ensure that residents stay stress-free as much as possible by working with medical professionals in regards to reducing of pain while promoting engagement and independence.
• Maintains good composure during emergencies.
• Maintains a safe work environment.

PM Shifts: 2pm-1030pm, Tues-Sat

The Chateau of Long Beach is an assisted living facility for the elderly community (ages 59+) located in Long Beach, CA. We are currently seeking compassionate and dependable Caregivers who have the passion to help the elderly and enjoy working in a fast paced environment.

Qualifications (non-negotiable):

• Able to pass DOJ FBI live scan criminal background clearance mandated by licensing
• Able to pass pre employment physical and TB test clearance
• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience in caregiving and medical administration preferred
• Full-Time and Part-Time positions available in various shifts
