Job summary

Cedarhurst Living is seeking an Assistant Executive Director to support daily operations, supervise the business office, and assist with financial management, resident relations, and staff support. The AED reports to the Executive Director and steps in during their absence to ensure seamless community operations.

The role emphasizes adherence to company values and regulatory requirements, plus collaboration with families and staff to maintain high-quality care and service.

Qualifications

• 2 years of managerial experience in a senior care community
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, healthcare administration, or related field preferred
• CPR or BLS certification preferred
• Experience with accounting functions (AP/AR, ledgers, balancing) preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee the business office functions including sales, tours, and events
• Assist in planning and implementing community operation strategies
• Prepare regular financial/operational reports for leadership
• Manage ATS, onboarding, training, and payroll-related processes
• Address residents and families regarding billing and contracts; provide strong customer service
