Job summary

Kenect Nashville seeks an Assistant Executive Director to lead revenue strategy and leasing for the property, reporting to the Executive Director. The role drives occupancy, pricing, renewals, and cross‑selling across traditional leasing, mid-term rentals, coworking, and amenities.

The candidate will mentor the leasing team, own collections and delinquency, and deliver regular performance updates to ownership and investors. A strategic leadership seat is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years in student or multifamily housing, real estate, or hospitality with 3+ years leading sales or leasing teams.
• Minimum of 4 years accounting, AR, payroll, and collections in multifamily or student housing.
• Proven track record of meeting occupancy and revenue targets through strategy and team development.
• Experience with mid-term/short-term rental operations, coworking or membership sales, or retail tenant management is a plus.
• Knowledgeable in Fair Housing, ADA, and EO housing laws.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead sales strategy for all revenue streams to achieve occupancy, revenue, and NOI goals.
• Set KPIs and track pipeline and performance weekly.
• Own pricing and renewal recommendations based on data and market analyses.
• Set rate strategy and occupancy targets for mid-term rental program.
• Partner with Coworking Membership Manager on sales and retention strategies.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the leasing team and train to standards.
