Job summary

The University of Nevada, Reno invites applications for an Assistant Executive Chef at the Lake Tahoe campus. This role supports operations in The Social House, Catering Events, Coffee venue service, and community events, working with the Executive Chef to ensure quality and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include assisting with food and beverage production, ordering supplies, inventory control, equipment maintenance, and upholding all health codes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 3+ years related kitchen/chef experience.
• TAM or equivalent certification.
• ServSafe certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ordering food and supplies for operations.
• Support inventory control and product rotation.
• Assist with production and execution of food and beverage and ensure health codes.
