Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Assistant Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to assist in the planning and execution of a wide range of events, including corporate meetings, social gatherings, and community events. Our ideal candidate is organized, energetic, and possesses excellent communication skills, allowing them to effectively collaborate with vendors, clients, and team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and organizing events from start to finish according to requirements, target audience, and objectives.
  • Coordinate with clients and understand their specific event needs and preferences.
  • Research and recommend venues, catering options, and entertainment based on client requirements.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Manage event logistics, including timelines, budgets, equipment rentals, and staffing needs.
  • Assist with marketing and promotional activities related to the events, including social media promotion and email campaigns.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in event planning or coordination, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
