Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Event Coordinator to join our dynamic events team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the planning and execution of a wide range of events, from corporate meetings to large-scale conferences, social gatherings, and community activities.

Responsibilities
  1. Assist in the planning and execution of various events including corporate meetings, conferences, and social gatherings.
  2. Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and venues to ensure all logistical aspects of the event are managed effectively.
  3. Maintain event schedules and timelines, ensuring all tasks are completed on time.
  4. Assist in the development of event budgets and track expenses to ensure adherence to financial guidelines.
  5. Contribute ideas and creative solutions for event themes, designs, and promotional materials.
  6. Provide onsite support during events, including setup, registration, and management of event activities.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Marketing, or a related field.
  2. Previous experience in event planning or coordination is a plus, but not required.
  3. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients and vendors.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
