Job summary

Circle C Child Development Center in Austin, TX seeks an experienced Assistant Education Director to join our leadership team. We are a NAEYC-accredited preschool serving children from infancy through age 5, and we need an education leader passionate about early childhood education who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The Assistant Education Director works with the Education Director to manage day-to-day operations, support and develop staff, maintain classroom quality, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or Child Development.
• Strong knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices in early childhood education.
• Experience leading and coaching teaching staff in a preschool setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach teachers with developmentally appropriate practices.
• Observe classrooms and strengthen teaching practices.
• Review lesson plans and ensure curriculum implementation across classrooms.
• Support student assessments and family communications.
• Coordinate staff professional development and hiring decisions.
• Assist with staffing, onboarding, and classroom coverage.
