Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. (YAP) seeks an Assistant Director to support the Program Director in hiring and training staff, and to supervise team performance.

The role involves coordinating intakes and ensuring weekly client service hours meet requirements, while upholding YAP's care philosophy. The position requires knowledge of child welfare and mental health systems, budget oversight, and flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree preferred; commensurate experience acceptable.
• At least one year of experience in managing personnel and budgets.
• Experience with at-risk youth, probation or court liaison is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with an EHR system is a plus.
• Bilingual Spanish speaking is a plus.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and insurance.
• Flexible schedule; evenings and weekends may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform intakes and coordinate staffing to meet weekly service hours.
• Support the Program Director with hiring and training of staff.
• Provide supervision and monitor staff performance.
• Communicate weekly performance updates to the Director.
• Maintain commitment to strength-based, culturally competent care.
