Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. in Maryland is seeking an Assistant Director to support the Program Director of the Northern Maryland Program.

You will help hire and train staff, supervise personnel, and communicate weekly performance updates to the Director. The role includes intake coordination, staffing to deliver participant service hours, and ensuring compliance with YAP and referring authority requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree generally preferred; commensurate experience in community-based agency programs acceptable.
• At least one year previous experience managing personnel and budgets.
• Experience with at-risk youth, probation, court liaison, etc. a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform intakes and coordinate client staffing to manage delivery of participant service hours.
• Ensure compliance with all YAP and referring authority requirements.
• Provide supervision of staff and communicate weekly performance to the Director.
• Direct service and coverage including availability to support staff and families; group work.
