Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center is seeking an Assistant Director of Vascular Labs to lead operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize patient throughput across Moses, Weiler, and Wakefield divisions. The role includes staffing, training, and directing both clinical and clerical teams.

The position requires a registered vascular imaging credential, an associate degree (bachelor's preferred), and at least 5 years in a related technical role with 3+ years in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree is required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Registered in Vascular Imaging is required.
• At least 5 years in a related technical role, with ≥3 years in a hospital setting.
• Healthcare management experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of New York health care service delivery and imaging standards is required.
• Knowledge of health care reimbursement is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Vascular labs across multiple sites to optimize throughput and discharge planning.
• Manage staffing, training, performance improvement, and regulatory compliance (IAC, Joint Commission, DOH).
• Lead Revenue Cycle and Supply Chain operations for the lab.
