Job summary

North Carolina State University seeks an Assistant Director, Pack Support Programs, to develop and oversee student success initiatives across TRIO Collegiate and Pack Promise. You will coach students, lead mentoring programs, and build campus partnerships to advance academic progress and engagement.

The role requires a Master’s degree and experience in advising or mentoring, with some after-hours events. Supervisory duties include graduate fellows for 2027–28, with a focus on measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Counseling, Higher Education, Educational Research, Humanities, Social Sciences, or related fields.
• Experience providing support services and/or working on retention and success initiatives.
• Preferred two or more years of experience working with student advising, coaching, or mentoring programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and assess programs that support student transition, engagement, academic progress, and success.
• Contribute to strategic planning, goal setting, program evaluation, and annual reporting.
• Lead signature programs and educational initiatives, including program delivery and instruction.
