University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seeks an Assistant Director of Financial Well-Being to lead coaching, basic needs support, and data reporting for student financial stability. The role partners with campus offices and community organizations to connect students with resources that support academic success and financial literacy.

Responsibilities include overseeing Peer Financial Coaches, coordinating outreach, and advancing partnerships while ensuring effective program design guided

Qualifications

• Requires Master’s or Bachelor’s with 0–2 years’ experience or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of basic needs support programming for students.
• Experience building partnerships with internal and external groups.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with diverse student populations.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Coaching Process from scheduling to follow-up and supervise Peer Financial Coaches.
• Lead Basic Needs Support and Case Consultation with referrals and crisis integration.
• Lead Data, Assessment, and Reporting including metrics and annual reports.
• Lead Outreach and Engagement through events, presentations and partner programming.
• Forge Campus and Community Partnerships with student orgs and community partners.
• Supervise and Develop Staff in coordination with Center leadership.
