Qualifications

  • Master’s degree required in student personnel, higher education, counseling, organizational behavior, or related field.
  • Proven ability to review complaints, conduct intake meetings, interview involved parties, and resolve cases.
  • Experience collaborating with campus partners on student conduct and related policies.

Responsibilities

  • Directs a comprehensive educational student conduct system, including training, case assignments, investigations, and outcome development.
  • Counsels students individually or in groups on behavioral, academic, substance abuse, safety, and emotional issues.
  • Initiates referrals to campus resources such as Title IX, Counseling, and SAFE Office.
  • Serves as a hearing officer for alleged violations of the Student Code of Conduct.
  • Manages alternative dispute resolutions, restorative justice, and adjudicative processes.
  • Maintains confidentiality of student records and documents investigations.
