Job summary

The University of Texas Permian Basin is seeking an Assistant Director of Online Enrollment to lead barrier removal, funnel analytics, and cross-functional coordination across Admissions, Financial Aid, and IT. You will drive process improvements and oversee a team handling student progression data and enrollment workflows.

Ideal candidates bring experience in CRM/SIS systems, data dashboards, and strong executive communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in university admissions or related higher-education environment.
• At least one (1) year of formal supervision or people-management experience.
• Experience analyzing cross-functional enrollment or student-service processes and implementing improvements.
• Experience using a CRM/SIS/workflow platform with reports or dashboards to monitor progression.
• Experience developing operating procedures and service standards for enrollment-related functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead recurring review of holds, handoffs, and barriers from application to enrollment; maintain action register.
• Analyze patterns, identify root causes, and coordinate owners and timelines for resolution.
• Develop process maps, escalation paths, and operating procedures; implement approved improvements.
• Coordinate with offices to clarify holds, triggers, and release criteria without changing policies.
• Own aggregate monitoring of prospective-student progression from inquiry to registration.
• Prepare dashboards and reports and present recommendations to leadership and partners.
• Establish data quality checks and consistent definitions for enrollment metrics.
