Job summary

The Dupont Circle Hotel is a luxury property in Washington DC seeking a commercially driven Assistant Director of Sales to lead transient business across corporate, diplomatic, luxury leisure, and other segments. You will oversee the Senior Account Executive, Corporate & Diplomatic Sales and report to the Director of Sales & Marketing.

Join a Commercial Leadership Team focused on driving revenue, building key relationships, and representing the hotel at industry events.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years' hotel sales experience in luxury or upscale hospitality.
• Proven success in corporate, diplomatic, business travel or luxury leisure sales.
• Experience leading or managing teams and driving revenue growth.

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve transient revenue goals and market share growth.
• Manage a portfolio of key accounts and identify new business opportunities.

• Build strong relationships with corporate travel buyers, diplomatic contacts, luxury travel advisors and consortia partners.
• Represent the hotel at trade shows, sales missions, networking events and client engagements.
• Analyse market trends, production data and competitor activity to drive commercial performance.
• Coach and support the Senior Account Executive, Corporate & Diplomatic Sales.

The Dupont Circle Hotel is seeking a commercially driven and relationship-focused Assistant Director of Sales to join our Commercial Leadership Team. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, this role is responsible for leading the hotel's transient business across corporate, diplomatic, luxury leisure, consortia and business travel segments while overseeing the Senior Account Executive, Corporate & Diplomatic Sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth across corporate, diplomatic, luxury leisure, consortia and business travel segments.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve transient revenue goals and market share growth.
