The Dupont Circle Hotel in Washington, DC is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of People and Culture to join our team. You will partner with the Director to lead recruitment, onboarding, engagement, learning and development, employee relations, performance management and wellbeing initiatives.

This role requires hospitality HR leadership, strong communication, and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Previous HR or People & Culture leadership experience, ideally within hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations and employment practices.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
• Passion for creating exceptional employee experiences.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Salary: 90,000 to 95,000

Working closely with the Director of People & Culture, you will play a key role in supporting all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, engagement, learning and development, employee relations, performance management and wellbeing initiatives. You'll help foster a culture that reflects our values, supports our people and delivers an exceptional employee experience.

Key Responsibilities
