Job summary

Laughlin Healthcare Center in Greeneville, Tennessee seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead the nursing team, ensuring high-quality care and regulatory compliance.

The ADON will oversee staff performance, participate in governance meetings, and ensure incident reporting and patient information privacy are maintained in accordance with state rules.

Qualifications

• RN license in Tennessee
• Minimum 3 years’ supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing home or related healthcare facility
• Current CPR certification
• Knowledge of nursing practices and long-term care regulations

Responsibilities

• Communicate policy and procedures to clinical staff, monitor staff and practices.
• Participate in management team meetings related to census, resident care plans, complaints, and concerns as well as QAPI and facility assessments.
• Evaluate work performance of all nursing personnel and discipline according to operational policies.
• Ensure resident incidents and concerns that rise to a reportable event are reported to the correct entity within state regulatory requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.

Assistant Director of Nursing Position Summary
