Henderson Health and Rehabilitation Center in Henderson, TN is seeking a qualified Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) – Registered Nurse to join the leadership team in a full-time capacity. The ADON will help guide clinical operations, staff oversight, and compliance with regulations, while supporting high-quality resident care.

Ideal candidates will hold an RN license in Tennessee, have at least 3 years of supervisory experience in healthcare, and possess CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Must hold an RN license in Tennessee.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing home, or related facility.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate policies and procedures to clinical staff and monitor staff practices.
• Participate in management meetings on census, care plans, complaints, QAPI, and facility assessments.
• Evaluate performance of nursing staff and apply disciplinary actions per policy.
• Ensure reportable resident incidents are reported per state requirements.
• Protect patient privacy in all verbal, written, and electronic communications.

Assistant Director of Nursing Position Summary

As the ADON at Henderson Health and Rehab, you'll be an essential part of our residents' care. Responsibilities include:

• Communicate policy and procedures to clinical staff, monitor staff and practices.
• Participate in management team meetings related to census, resident care plans, complaints, and concerns as well as QAPI and facility assessments.
• Evaluate work performance of all nursing personnel and discipline according to operational policies.
• Ensure resident incidents and concerns that rise to a reportable event are reported to the correct entity within the state regulatory requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.

Assistant Director of Nursing Requirements

• Current unrestricted RN license for the state of Tennessee
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing home or other related healthcare facility
• Current CPR certification
• Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices as well as long-term care regulations
