Maplewood Health Care Center in Jackson, TN is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead clinical operations and support resident care. The ADON will supervise nursing staff, implement policies, and participate in governance with the care team.

• Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices as well as long-term care regulations.

Responsibilities

• Communicate policy and procedures to clinical staff, monitor staff and practices.
• Participate in management team meetings related to census, resident care plans, complaints, and concerns as well as QAPI and facility assessments.
• Evaluate work performance of all nursing personnel and discipline according to operational policies.
• Ensure resident incidents and concerns that rise to a reportable event are reported to the correct entity within the state regulatory requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.
