Maplewood Health Care Center in Jackson, Tennessee is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing – Registered Nurse to join our caring team in a full-time role. You’ll lead nursing staff, help drive quality care, and support regulatory compliance in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment.

Responsibilities include communicating policies to staff, participating in management meetings about census and care plans, evaluating performance, and ensuring accurate reporting of incidents per state

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted RN license for the state of Tennessee.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing home or other related healthcare facility
• Current CPR certification
• Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices as well as long-term care regulations

Responsibilities

• Communicate policy and procedures to clinical staff, monitor staff and practices.
• Participate in management team meetings related to census, resident care plans, complaints, and concerns as well as QAPI and facility assessments.
• Evaluate work performance of all nursing personnel and discipline according to operational policies.
• Ensure resident incidents and concerns that rise to a reportable event are reported to the correct entity within the state regulatory requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.
