Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a current NC RN license.
• Two (2) years of experience; skilled nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in preparing a work schedule for nursing personnel.
• Visits patients and communicates with staff/physicians about daily nursing operations.
• Supervises nursing personnel to ensure best patient care.
• Acts as liaison for staff nursing and nurse management.
• Monitors the Quality Assurance Program of the facility.
• Assigns duties and supervises/evaluates work performance.
• Supervises nursing records and treatments; Infection Control Nurse.
• Monitors decubiti and reviews monthly reports.
• Handles disciplinary issues involving nursing staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
