AristaCare at Whiting is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to assist the Director of Nursing in guiding the clinical team and delivering resident-centered care. The role focuses on quality care, staff coordination, and regulatory compliance in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in NJ.
• Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible nursing experience.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in long-term care.
• Infection Control: 1 year (preferred).
• Must be computer literate; EMR experience preferred.
• IP Course completion within 3–6 months of hire expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead the clinical team under the Director of Nursing to ensure quality care.
• Coordinate infection control activities.
• Plan and implement training programs for clinical staff.
• Assist with staffing to meet resident needs and recruitment as needed.
• Oversee competency evaluations and corrective action plans.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing ( ADON) to assist the Director of Nursing in leading the clinical team in providing quality care to residents. Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Ensure the upmost quality and patient-centered care of residents
• Coordinate infection control
• Plans, organize, and implement training programs/in-services for clinical staff.
• Assist with compliance and ensure effective communication with all levels of nursing staff
• Ensure adequate and appropriate staffing of the facility nursing department to meet the needs of residents . This may include recruitment.
• Oversee the process for competency evaluations and corrective action plans.

Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of NJ.
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible nursing experience in clinical setting is preferred.
• Three (3) years of supervisory experience in long term care/sub-acute setting is preferred
• Infection Control: 1 year (Preferred)
• Must be computer literate and experience with EMR preferred
• Completion of IP Course within 3-6 months of hire would be expected.
