Job summary

Epic Healthcare in New Jersey (Trenton) is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team and help deliver high-quality resident care in a post-acute setting.

The ADON will support the Director of Nursing in daily operations, mentor nursing staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote resident-centered care through interdisciplinary collaboration and staff development.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Jersey.
• Leadership experience in long-term or post-acute care.
• Strong knowledge of nursing regulations and standards of practice.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational skills.
• Commitment to resident-centered care and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in daily operations.

Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Responsibilities:

• Assist the Director of Nursing in managing day-to-day clinical operations
• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain high standards of resident care
• Participate in staff education, training, and performance evaluations
• Support care plan development and implementation in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
• Help manage infection control, quality assurance, and risk management programs
