Sunrise Nursing & Memory Care in Raymore, Missouri is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in overseeing clinical operations and ensuring resident care and regulatory compliance.

This role requires an RN or LPN with leadership experience in long-term care; you will supervise staff, participate in care planning, monitor quality, and help maintain survey readiness in a fast-paced, resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Requires Missouri RN or LPN license (RN preferred).
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or memory care preferred.
• Minimum 2 years nursing supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day management of nursing services.
• Support 24-hour clinical operations and nursing oversight.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
• Supervise and develop nursing staff performance.
• Participate in resident assessments, care planning, and admissions.
• Monitor quality of care and resident outcomes.

• Assume clinical leadership in the absence of the Director of Nursing.

Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Responsibilities

The Assistant Director of Nursing supports the Director of Nursing in overseeing clinical operations and ensuring the highest standards of resident care and regulatory compliance.

• Assisting with the day-to-day management of nursing services
