Monarch Springs Wellness & Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to serve as Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON). You will partner with the Director of Nursing to ensure high-quality resident care and strong clinical outcomes, while leading the nursing team and upholding compliance with federal and state standards.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Missouri.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• 5+ years in long-term or acute care.
• 2+ years nursing supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Support 24/7 oversight of nursing services with the Director of Nursing.
• Ensure resident care plans meet physician orders, regulatory standards, and facility policies.
• Communicate policies, train staff, and monitor clinical practices.
• Participate in admissions decisions and assess prospective residents when needed.
• Attend daily and weekly leadership meetings to discuss resident status and staffing.
• Ensure high-quality, compassionate care—monitoring cleanliness, wound prevention, and resident well-being.
• Monitor key clinical quality indicators and implement systems to exceed targets.
• Collaborate with physicians, consultants, therapy, and community partners.
• Oversee competency testing for licensed and unlicensed staff.
• Lead and maintain the facility’s infection control program.
• Serve as acting Director of Nursing when needed.

About The Role

As the ADON, you will support the Director of Nursing in ensuring high-quality resident care, strong clinical outcomes, and smooth day-to-day nursing operations. What We’re Looking For

• Active RN license in the state of Missouri
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
• 5+ years long-term care or acute care experience preferred
• 2+ years nursing supervisory experience required
• Strong leadership, communication, and clinical assessment skills
