Job summary

Advantage Recruiting Group is seeking an experienced RN/ADON for a Full-Time position in Voorhees, NJ and Burlington, NJ. The ADON will provide clinical leadership in a post-acute/LTC setting and support the Director of Nursing across all shifts.

Ideal candidates have prior post-acute or SNF/LTC experience, strong regulatory knowledge, and excellent communication skills to ensure quality resident care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing with overall management and coordination of nursing services.
• Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing staff across all shifts.
• Monitor resident care for quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with staff supervision, scheduling, education, and performance management.
• Support implementation and monitoring of care plans.
• Review clinical documentation for accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist with quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Monitor infection prevention and control practices.
• Collaborate with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Assist with regulatory compliance and inspections preparation.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) / Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the nursing department and provide strong clinical leadership in a post-acute/LTC setting.

The ideal candidate will have prior Post-Acute, Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Long-Term Care (LTC), or Subacute experience and a strong understanding of clinical operations, regulatory compliance, and quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing with the overall management and coordination of nursing services.
• Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing staff across all shifts.
• Monitor resident care to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with facility standards.
• Assist with staff supervision, scheduling, education, and performance management.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of care plans.
• Review clinical documentation and ensure accurate and timely charting.
• Assist with quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Monitor infection prevention and control practices.
• Collaborate with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Assist with regulatory compliance and preparation for surveys and inspections.
• Respond to clinical concerns and help resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in the State of New Jersey.
• Required: Previous Post-Acute, Skilled Nursing, Long-Term Care, or Subacute experience.
• Previous ADON, Assistant DON, Unit Manager, Charge Nurse, or other nursing leadership experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of NJ nursing facility regulations and long-term care standards preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams.
