Job summary

RAM Recruiting is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for a beautifully maintained skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Ocean County, NJ.

The ADON will support the Director of Nursing, mentor nursing staff across all shifts, monitor quality of care, and participate in resident care planning and family communication. Active NJ RN license and ADON or RN Manager LTC experience required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Jersey.
• Prior ADON experience in a nursing home or 3+ years as Nurse Manager in a nursing home setting.
• Experience in SNF / LTC setting.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Nursing (DON) in overseeing daily nursing operations.
• Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff across all shifts.
• Monitor quality of care and clinical compliance.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, and staff education.
• Participate in resident care planning and family communication.

• Salary: Up to $125,000 per year

Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Jersey
• Prior ADON experience in a nursing home, OR 3+ years as a Nurse Manager, Nursing Supervisor, or Unit Manager in a nursing home setting
• Must have experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) / long-term care (LTC) setting
