East Park is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to lead the nursing team in a continued commitment to high-quality resident care. The role collaborates across departments, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports budgets and quality programs.

The incumbent will mentor staff, oversee care plans, and foster strong relationships with residents and families while upholding the facility's standards and mission.

Qualifications

• Active registered nurse license in the relevant state.
• Experience leading nursing teams in long-term care or similar settings.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices and applicable regulations.
• Ability to make sound independent decisions.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Director of Nursing Services in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the nursing department's policies and operations.
• Participate in quality care plan development, including resident assessments, care plans, and treatment plans.
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff (LPNs, RNs, CNAs) to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Monitor care quality, identify improvements, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and company policies.
• Contribute to budget development, financial planning, and cost containment efforts.
• Collaborate with dietary, social services, and activities to ensure comprehensive resident care.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in this state.

• Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.




• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.




• Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities.
