Job summary

Access Services, Inc. in Plymouth Meeting, PA, is seeking an Assistant Director of Crisis Intervention for the Mobile Crisis team to lead, supervise, and develop crisis workers while partnering with the Director.

The role emphasizes growth in leadership, supervision skills, and crisis management experience within a unified team. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, assist with hiring and training, ensure policy compliance, and promote collaboration with partners and funders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field (human services, behavioral health, psychology or social work).
• Master’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Two years of crisis experience required or five years in mental health services; two years of supervisory responsibilities required.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall management, organization and daily operational oversight of the program.
• Assist with interviews, hiring and training of crisis workers.
• Supervise Crisis Workers on a weekly basis using individual and group supervision methods.
• Ensure compliance with program standards and policies; maintain regulatory compliance.
• Communicate effectively with the leadership team and promote collaborative attitudes.
• Perform telephone counseling on crisis hotlines and mobile crisis as needed.
• Supervise and assist team in resolving crisis situations in real time.
