Job summary

Jewish Board of Family and Children’s Services seeks an Assistant Program Director (APD) to oversee clinical and administrative operations in the Adult Residential Division. You will supervise Social Workers, Case Managers, and Case Associates, ensure regulatory compliance, and guide staff through training and performance evaluations.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in related roles.
• Clinical qualification preferred (LCSW or MSW).
• Ability to supervise and guide staff and manage programs.

Responsibilities

• Provides regular supervision to Social Worker, Case Manager, and Case Associates staff.
• Reviews assessments, progress notes, service plans, and discharge plans for quality and compliance.
• Works with Residence Managers on staffing, schedules, timesheets, and overtime.
• Facilitates high risk and group supervisions; participates in case conferences.
• Collaborates with other departments for program needs; participates in evaluations.
• Ensures regulatory training completion and apartment safety oversight.
• Travel to resident apartments within the five boroughs weekly; participates in meetings.
