Lipscomb University is seeking an Assistant Director of the Office of Intercultural Development & Commuter Services to advance belonging, leadership development, and student success among commuter, affinity-group, and international students.

The role combines on-campus engagement during fall/spring with DSO responsibilities in summer and peak enrollment, including SEVIS management, I-20 processing, and regulatory advising, all within Lipscomb's Christ-centered mission.

Qualifications

• Commitment to faith-based Christ-centered mission and Lipscomb's values.
• DSO experience is not required; training will be provided.
• Demonstrates strong leadership and the ability to manage multiple related tasks.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills essential for coordination across departments.
• Experience with student engagement and intercultural programming is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead commuter student engagement initiatives to strengthen belonging and persistence.
• Advise and oversee CORE (Commuter Opportunities, Resources, and Experiences).
• Facilitate partnerships among commuter leaders, faculty, staff, and administration to expand services.
• DSO responsibilities: SEVIS management, I-20 processing, onboarding during peak enrollment.
• Collaborate across Student Engagement, International Student Services, and admissions to deliver coordinated support and reporting.
