Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. in Casper, WY seeks an Assistant Director of Hospital Plant Operations to assist the Director of Hospital Engineering/Plant Operations in planning, organizing, directing and implementing the maintenance and operation of the acute care hospital, including equipment and facility property.

This role coordinates with vendors on estimates, leads life & safety inspections to Joint Commission standards, ensures regulatory compliance, and supervises maintenance

Qualifications

• Requires minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory role in hospital facilities engineering or plant operations.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, safety, construction management, facilities management, or related field.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct and implement maintenance and operation of the acute care hospital.
• Coordinate with Vendors for estimates on equipment, labor, plans/blueprints, materials and costs.
• Ensure life & safety in the Behavioral Health facility and compliance with Joint Commission standards.
• Direct daily work of maintenance technicians, contracting crews, subcontractors and grounds personnel as needed.
