The role encompasses safety oversight, regulatory compliance, and long-range capital planning to maintain safe, compliant facilities. The candidate will coordinate with project managers, manage budgets, and oversee energy management, vendor relations, and staff development.

Qualifications

• 5 years hospital engineering management experience.
• Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems and Building Management Systems.
• Thorough knowledge of NFPA codes and standards, Joint Commission and CMS standards, OSHA, EPA and state and local codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes and directs operations of Engineering, Maintenance and Grounds.
• Serves as Safety Officer for the hospital.
• Manages budgets and capital projects.
• Oversees energy management and utility operations.
• Leads staff and vendors to ensure safe operation of hospital buildings.
