Job summary

The Peninsula Chicago is seeking an Assistant Director to join our Front Office Division management team and be an integral part of our guest-focused service. The position is based on-site on Michigan Avenue in Chicago and offers a path to leadership within a luxury, five-star property.

With a minimum of four years in Front Office leadership and familiarity with Opera PMS, you will drive excellence in guest experience while upholding Peninsula and Forbes standards and a strong service culture

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of Front Office leadership experience in a luxury property.
• Knowledge of PMS/Opera is preferred.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper operation of all Front Office responsibilities.
• Ensure Front Office team adheres to Peninsula and Forbes standards.
• Maintain staff performance consistency with Peninsula and Forbes standards.
• Communicate with all departments to create a guest centric experience.
• Ensure staff comply with Head Office database requirements.
• Ensure efficient operation of Front Office with smooth handover.
