Purdue University seeks an Assistant Director to oversee Need Analysis, Central Processing, and Appeals. The role leads experienced financial aid staff and guides daily operations across need analysis, processing, and professional judgment decisions, ensuring compliant, efficient processing.

Collaborate with the Associate Director and programming staff to analyze systems, review upgrades, and train divisional staff, while advising students and families on aid matters and supporting outreach

Qualifications

Interpersonal communication with diverse students, parents and colleagues.
Strong skills with software and Microsoft Suite.
Excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

Manage experienced financial aid staff and lead operations for need analysis, central processing, verification, and professional judgments.
Ensure regulatory compliance, set priorities, and train staff for accurate processing.
Coordinate system analysis, testing of upgrades, and staff training on related processes.
Advise students and families on financial aid, support outreach, and contribute to strategic planning.
