Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree OR five years of experience in financial aid with progressive growth in responsibilities
• Two years of experience in a university one-stop office providing financial aid counseling to students and families or within a financial aid office
• High attention to detail
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to use analytical skills to assess student scenarios and provide education and counseling
• Ability to improve and streamline processes
• Knowledge of student financial aid laws, internal controls, compliance, and audit concepts

Responsibilities

• Administer and reconcile federal, state, and institutional aid programs
• Support packaging, webpage updates, FAFSA review, and loan processing
• Oversee FAFSA corrections
• Collaborate with the Office of Flyer Student Services to address service needs
• Create and update documentation to drive consistency in financial aid updates
