Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least two years in student services, data analytics, volunteer and/or program management.
  • Experience analyzing data sets and making recommendations; public speaking/presentation skills necessary.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills; ability to work independently with strong organizational skills.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and meet University driver eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the logistical and pedagogical process of implementing experiential learning activities in business courses.
  • Recruit, train, and manage up to 150 corporate volunteers for MNGT 101 and MNGT 475; match volunteers with students/groups.
  • Collaborate with the Assoc. Dir of the TLC to hire and train ~20–30 undergraduate learning assistants; supervise LAs.
  • Lead weekly LA meetings and ensure consistency in recitations; use retention and success strategies.
  • Set up Canvas assignments and coordinate communications with stakeholders across the semester.
  • Serve as primary contact for the program with students, faculty, staff and other stakeholders.
  • Plan and implement Tenaska Business Challenge rounds; recruit students and professionals; manage asynchronous and synchronous events.
  • Develop or revise programming for IBL sophomores–seniors; manage budget and identify additional opportunities.
  • Measure impact of adding MNGT 101 to the core; develop learning metrics and trends; support AACSB assurance of learning.
