Xavier University seeks an Assistant Director of Experiential Learning to develop and support high-impact learning opportunities for students. The role involves program management, internal/external communications, data collection, and reporting.

Responsibilities include leading program initiatives, coordinating with faculty and partners, maintaining policies, informing students, and delivering workshops to help students secure and reflect on experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Master’s degree preferred in Higher Education, Business, Counseling, or related field.
• 1-3 years of related experience.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in the development, implementation and maintenance of high-impact experiential learning opportunities.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for faculty, staff, and off-campus partners, including policy interpretation.
• Establish and maintain internal policies and procedures aligned with university efforts to promote awareness and participation.
• Promote and expand awareness and participation in experiential learning opportunities to students and partners.
• Maintain tracking database and support data collection for reporting.
• Advise students on internship/experiential education preparation and search.
• Develop and facilitate workshops to help students secure, succeed in, and reflect upon their experiences.
