Job summary

Arizona State University is seeking an Assistant Director of Experiential Learning to expand high-impact internship opportunities and align them with ASU’s diverse programs and timelines. You will guide employers in creating mentorship-focused internships while leading the IPN network across ASU campuses.

Key duties include collaborating with academic units, delivering training, and developing resources for equitable hiring and student mentorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and seven years of related experience or an equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with academic units and university partners to integrate experiential learning into student programs.
• Lead the Internship Professionals Network (IPN) and serve as central convener for internship professionals across ASU campuses.
• Educate and train staff and employer partners on best practices for equitable hiring and meaningful student mentorship.
• Design and facilitate IPN meetings, workshops, and community-building initiatives.
• Develop and maintain communication channels to keep IPN members informed and engaged.
