Job summary

The Goddard School located at: 11450 S. Pine Drive Parker, CO 80134 is seeking a motivated, self-starter for an Assistant Director position to oversee daily operations, support the Executive Director, ensure licensing compliance, and foster positive relationships with families and the community.

This role involves staff management, program development and implementing our Wonder of Learning curriculum to spark curiosity and inspire high-quality early education.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience teaching in early childhood education.
• At least 1 year of experience on the administrative team at a large childcare center.
• Strong knowledge of child development and early learning best practices.
• Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Must pass state background checks and meet licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Administrative Support: Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the School
• Staff Management: Support recruitment, training, development and supervision of staff
• Curriculum and Program Development: Assist in implementing the Wonder of Learning program to spark curiosity, support growth and inspire a lifelong love of learning
• Family and Community Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with families
• Health and Safety: Conduct regular safety drills and ensure licensing regulations compliance
