Job summary

Mass General Brigham seeks an experienced leader to serve as Assistant Director, CDM, guiding healthcare preparedness initiatives and regional readiness. You will collaborate with senior leaders to set strategic direction, oversee funded programs, and shape training for a high‑performance team in a fast-paced environment.

You will supervise 3–6 FTEs, engage stakeholders regionally and nationally, and drive grant development and program reporting to support the department's mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in emergency management in a hospital/healthcare setting.
• Experience with HICS/NIMS ICS-100, 200, 700, 800.
• Ability to lead teams in a complex, multidisciplinary environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead CDM within the MGB Department and co-lead strategic plans.
• Coordinate with leaders and represent CDM on regional and national groups.
• Develop and guide RDHRS MOCC readiness and policies.
• Manage externally funded programs and assist with grants.
• Lead activations of CDM response capabilities and post‑response learning.
• Supervise staff (3–6 FTEs) and oversee hiring and training.
