Mass General Brigham (MGB) is seeking a dynamic and experienced physician leader to serve as Executive Medical Director for Community Physicians. This high-impact leadership role drives clinical strategy, value-based performance, and partnerships across our growing network.

The Executive Medical Director collaborates with Population Health Services Organization and the Chief Medical Officer to propel affiliate performance, transform practices, and grow strategic opportunities in ambulatory care

Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Active medical license (or ability to obtain) required.
• Master’s degree in Public Health (MPH) or Business Administration (MBA) required.

Responsibilities

• Drive improvements in quality, safety, access, equity, and cost performance across affiliate practices.
• Serve as a physician liaison between community practices and system leadership, including PHSO, OCMO, and operational teams.
• Lead practice performance reviews utilizing data and analytics.
• Advance value-based care initiatives and improve population health outcomes.
• Support practice transformation and innovation, including new care delivery models.
• Enhance ambulatory workflows and improve clinician experience.
• Identify and cultivate strategic growth opportunities across the network.
• Promote physician engagement, development, and well-being.
