Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking an experienced data engineering leader to shape enterprise data, analytics and AI capabilities. You will partner with business leaders and engineering teams to establish technical direction, deliver modern data platforms and AI solutions end-to-end.

You’ll guide architecture decisions, mentor engineering teams, remove delivery barriers and establish practices that support secure, scalable and high-performing solutions.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technology discipline.
• 8 to 12 years of progressive experience in data engineering or analytics delivery.
• Experience providing technical leadership and guiding architecture decisions.
• Hands-on with Azure Databricks or Microsoft Fabric platforms.
• Knowledge of data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, modeling and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for data, analytics and AI platform initiatives from design to production.
• Guide architecture decisions to meet security, scalability and reliability needs.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams through design, development, testing and deployment.
• Review data pipelines and analytics solutions for performance and maintainability.
• Manage risks, dependencies and delivery timelines with governance controls.
• Coach teammates and promote best engineering practices.
• Communicate risks and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Lead onshore and offshore delivery transitions and knowledge transfer.
